Chef Hospitalised by Hot Chilli Sauce - Man vs Food
Arif Ali suffered an extreme reaction to a hot-sauce he was preparing for a Man v Food-style hot-wings challenge at Jimmy's restaurant, London's O2 arena.
The hotter-than-hot sauce contained Naga Jolokia chillis, which are rated at 250,000 on the Scoville scale of chilli strength. That's even hotter than pepper spray!
Customers cheered on Mr Ali as he tasted the food. After 3 hot chicken wings and some cooling milk, he began sweating profusely and collapsed at the table. He was subsequently rushed off to hospital.
