Farmcote Chilli Festival
Farmcote Herbs and Chilli Peppers will be holding their chilli festival over the August Bank holiday week-end, over the 3 days, 10.30-5.30. The festival and small business is run by husband and wife team Tim and Jane.
The property is set in the hamelt of Farmcote, set in one of the beautiful parts of the Cotswolds. Farmcote grow 30 different types of chillies from mild Padron to Bhut Jolika and also sell herbs, all potted up.
During the festival, expect to find a stoked BBQ, cooking the delicious Gloucester "Old Spot" sausages with chillies and chilli burgers. The beer tent will be stocked and selling local Stanway Ale, local cider, Pimms, wine and a variety of soft drinks. There is a tea tent, selling cakes, chilli muffins and other refreshments. Various stalls will be at the festival, selling a wide range of chilli products, chocolate and chutneys, among other hot and tasty delights.
