El Yucateco Habanero Review
More of a commercial product that our usual reviews, but a fiery contender all the same, the Habanero XXXtra Hot sauce from El Yucateco tastes a little like it's backed by more dried chillies than fresh - a vindaloo rather than an jalfrezi, so to speak!
The sauce has a very smokey flavour, complex and moreish. Goes very well with simple cheese on toast. Not amazing by any means, but worthy of being a standard table condiment, although there's many more that carry a fresher, smoother taste with the same amount of upper-mid-range heat.
