Fire & Ice Street Festival, Qualicum Beach, Canada

25 Teams compete for bragging rights and the coveted "People's Choice Award". We supply the cup, the spoon and the chili. All you need to remember are your taste buds. Bring the kids and get in touch with your own inner-child. There's face-painting, story-time, animal rides and balloon sculpture.

Local Musicians work the three stages. Come May 7th, there will be dancing in the streets of Qualicum Beach Village. Frozen water, chainsaws and ice picks... in the wrong hands it adds up to a trip the Emergency Room. In the hands of a master Ice Sculptor they are raw materials for crystalline works of wonder.
