Manchester Chilli Festival 2010
Friday 1st of October 2010
The first Manchester Chilli Festival will be held on Friday 1st October, at Festival Pavilion, Albert Square, Manchester.
The opening day extravaganza will feature up to 20 chilli producers and retailers, with many products ranging from chilli peppers, plants and seeds, through to chilli jams, pickles and everything in between.
The Manchester festival will be a chance for chilli retailers to sell and sample produce to a discerning audience, all in the realms of one of the most well regarded Food Festivals in the UK.
The Pavilion itself will be free to enter and is located in front of Manchester Town Hall, which will ensure the event will be well attended.
The Chilli Festival will be marketed as the launch event for the outdoor activity taking place on the first day of the Food Festival.
Sellers and exhibitors will be able to set up a 3m x 3m market stall. With stalls costing just £40.00 (+VAT) to register, the ability to sell and promote at the event is well within everyone's reach.
One of the highlight features of the event will be a Chilli Eating Competition, which will take place at 5.30pm. This will be open to the public to take part and test their tolerance!
