Fathers Day Chilli Fiesta

The Mansion House, Old Warden Park - in association with Edible Ornamentals - hosted The Fathers Day Chilli Fiesta on Sunday 17th June 2012.
Located in the grounds of the magnificent 19th Century Mansion House, former home of the Shuttleworth Family, the Chilli Fiesta was the biggest party around, combining live music, cooking demonstrations and a carnival atmosphere.
Vistors to the Chilli Fiesta spiced up their lives with a hot day out.
As it was Fathers' Day, many visitors spent their time treating their dads to a chilli beer or a bite of chilli chocolate and a whole host of other chilli products.
The whole event was on a chilli theme with chilli growers and producers of specialised chilli products from all over the UK exhibiting their wares, plus award winning chef, Grant Hawthorne, showing the crowds how to make his best chilli dishes.
The Chef's Academy Cookalong was a popular attraction, a gardening academy took place and a Gardeners' Question Time -style session was very informative. Meanwhile, the children enjoyed the funfair and bouncy castle!
