Chilli Sausage Eating Challenge, Harlow

Once again its our annual BBQ with the Chilli Sausage Competition. This is based on volume as well as heat.
You start with 2 Pork & 20 Chilli just to get you started, then next comes the duo of beef Harissa with the Moruga Scorpion Chilli from Trinidad; this was taken from the Metro - "It stunned testers by burning through their protective latex gloves"!
Finally comes 2 of the Lamb Phal Sausage, its eye wateringly hot! The winner will be the first to finish their plate. The competition costs £5 to enter which all goes to St Claires Hospice and will be run on the hour at 2pm, 3pm & 4pm with T-shirts for the successful chilli sausage eaters plus other chilli related prizes. So do come along as its funny to watch grown men cry!
There will be non chilli offerings from the BBQ for those with a palate.
Along with the food there will be music, beer, bouncy castle and face painting for the kids. Bring the family down from midday, it will finish around 22:30!!
