Arley Chilli Festival 2014

This year will be the 20th Anniversary Garden Festival, celebrating all things for the garden. There will be a magnificent Floral Marquee and specialist nurseries along with horticultural accessessories. Question time sessions will take place on both days with TV Presenter Chris Beardshaw on Sunday. As well as being at the show we are also running a competition for several lucky winners to have breakfast with Chris on Sunday 22nd June at Arley at 9am, anybody pre-booking tickets will be entered into a draw, tickets must be booked in advance and the competition closes on Monday 16 June with the winners being chosen on Tuesday 17th June.
Garden tours guided by Lord Ashbrook and Head Gardener Gordon Baillie will also run throughout the weekend.
Local schools will be taking part in our Flower bed challenge and there will be a countryside marquee with willow weavers, the badger group, basket weaving and more. A plant surgery will be available for you to bring any of your plants to for advice on how to look after them.
There will be childrens entertainment including trampolines and face painting, a classic car display of Morris Minors on Saturday and Morgan cars on the Sunday. A live jazz band will welcome you each day and in the afternoon the Lymm Concert band will be playing in the bandstand.
Creative Crafts will be providing a quality gifts and crafts marquee.
There is a delicious food fair offering strawberries & cream, cheese, chutneys and pies as well as welsh beers, fresh coffee and more.
The Hall will be open and is included in the entry price and this year as well as being decorated with flowers by Lady Ashbrook Priestley college will be exhibiting their Garden Inspired Art. A plant creche, free buggy service Pimms & Champagne bar make this a delightful event.
Dogs are very welcome on a lead, please note however that there will be no access to the Gardens only on this weekend.
