Chilli Festival Weekend 2014

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September

Aviary Glade

10.00am – 5.00pm each day
Waddesdon's annual Chilli Festival Weekend is the ultimate chilli experience!

Stalls

Now in its 8th year, our hugely successful chilli festival weekend will be held in the Gardens of the Manor, in the beautiful settings of the Aviary Glade.

All of the forty exhibitors are handpicked by our events team and guarantee to bring you the best of local artisan producers and some of the nation’s well known independent traders from across the country.

At this year's festival you will find everything for the chilli fanatic or intrepid chilli novice; delicious chilli jams, exotic and enticing pastes and pickles, chutneys and oils, relishes and sauces alongside spicy cheese, chilli beers and chocolate. Don’t worry though, if things get a little hot, there are also stalls offering refreshing drinks with local beers and ciders and cooling frozen yoghurts and ice creams.

Speak to our experts and discover how to grow and cook with chillies, what's hot and what's not. Every exhibitor is passionate about chillies and their products and love to offer advice on guidance on all things chilli.

Food and Locally produced Beers and Ciders

There will be a large selection of foods from around the world to stop and buy for lunch. Choose from Dexter Beef minute steak ciabatta, Falafel, hot sausage cobs, Samosas, Mauritian Biryani, Chilli Wraps and Handmade wood fired Pizzas.

A range of South African beers and ciders will be available as well as locally produced bottles and wines.

Talks and Demonstrations

The Chilli Cookery Theatre will be making a welcome return and will offer talks and demonstrations throughout the day. Keeping the whole festival will be your host Andy Holmes a good friend of the Chilli Festival and Waddesdon. Full programme available soon.

Entertainment

To get the party started there will be live music between 11.30 and 4.30 each day. There will also be lots for the children to do with free activities and face painting all weekend.
