Mr Vikki's Hot Stuff Scotch Bonnet & Mango Sauce Review
Mr Vikki's Hot Stuff Scotch Bonnet & Mango Sauce is a realy sharp, hot tasty bottle of heat-lovin' goodness! The name alone, combined with the 5 chillies rating is enough of a warning to those who might accidentally take on this hot sauce.
The flavour - there's no mistaking the scotch bonnet (50% volume) through and through. Mango is a little less evident (just 20% volume), cut beautifully with a white wine vinegar that eminates from the bottle neck and frazzles your nose with a deep breath! A hint of (dare I compare...) Louisiana/Tabasco's sour edge, definately "umami" flavour yet surprisingly fruity and fresh... and simply moreish. We could drink it from the bottle for the rest of the afternoon!
Mr Vikki's describe their new baby as a "high base ingredient luxury chilli sauce"; no doubt at all, something of an understatement. If you weren't warm before, you'll be sweating afterwards!!
