Feel The Burn Firestarter Review
Feel the Burn is a chilli-focused company, run by Paul Brailsford. Although quite a new entrant to the chill-arena, they pack a strong portfolio of chilli sauces, jams and other fruity, fiery products.
The Firestarter sauce was the first of their products that we dared to test. Described as "tomato ketchup on steroids", the sauce is quite fluid, only slightly thicker in consistency and modestly hotter than Tabasco sauce. The underlying fruitiness of the sauce is subtle, whilst a savouriness or "umami" flavour lingers on the tongue in a very pleasant way. This sauce is a great accompaniment to cheese and chicken dishes, or even in a fresh salsa for some kick.
Overall, Firestarter is a tasty, meatly sauce, suitable for many different applciations. The team at Chilli-Festival can't wait for the new Firestarter Extreme!
